"If ever there was a Chayanne song that meant more to me than any other,
this is it. The big kahuna. This was the first song I heard from
Chayanne. It is the song I fell in love with. The song that
introduced me to his magnificence and probably my ultimate favorite.
I know I say that about all my translations (LOL!),
but this one really is it.
If songs were men... this would be the one I'd marry :)
This song is also very important to me, because it describes the
way I felt when I met him on that beautiful June 23rd night in Toronto.
I came out of that room flying through the universe chasing his star.
It wasn't until I took my seat at the show that I felt my feet touch
ground again. I can't explain it to you in any other way than to tell
you that inexplicably this song was playing in the back of my head while
the entire thing happened. Maybe I am just a hopeless romantic who best
describes and interprets her emotions through his beautiful ballads... even if those emotions come from hugging him? *smile*
It is very poetic and much of the meaning might have gotten lost
in the translation but the gist of it is: The emotion felt when
you fall in love with the person of your dreams. How you feel like
flying through the skies and you always feel like you are in heaven
when you are together. But it's also about that moment that you
realize, "this is the one" because you simply have to let yourself
be taken by the love of that person who has managed to get through
to the deepest part of your soul and made a home there.
